Continuing Education Program Info

Training Grounds is an approved continuing education provider for the California Mental Health Services Authority (CalMHSA) Medi-Cal Peer Support Specialists Certification Program.

Training Grounds LLC is approved by CAMFT to sponsor continuing education for: Licensed Marriage Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC), Licensed Educational Psychologists (LEP). Training Grounds LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Policies

ACCOMODATIONS: Requests for accommodations may be emailed to support@training-grounds.net at least ten days before the event. Requests are reviewed individually, with a response within three business days. Reasonable efforts will be made to meet requests. If a request is not granted, an appeal may be submitted within five business days.


ANTI-DISCRIMINATION AND ANTI-HARASSMENT: Discrimination or harassment in any form will not be tolerated. This includes any offensive comments and/or actions based on race, gender, age, disability, sexual orientation, citizenship, language, or any other protected classification. The organizer or host may take any action deemed appropriate if this policy is violated, including warning or expelling the individual from current and/or future sessions without refund.


CERTIFICATES: Certificates are awarded upon completion of course requirements and issued in person (when applicable) or by email within five business days. Requests for a replacement copy may be sent to support@training-grounds.net.


COMPLAINT RESOLUTION: Written complaints may be submitted to support@training-grounds.net and will be acknowledged within three business days. Responses may include, but are not limited to, repair and reintegration, policy clarification, or program adjustments. Should the outcome be unsatisfactory, a written response may be requested within five business days.


COURSE COMPLETION: Participants must attend all sessions, complete required coursework, and pass quizzes with at least 75%. Quizzes may be retaken up to three times. Missed sessions may be made up through recordings or discussion with the facilitator. Extension requests may be emailed to support@training-grounds.net. Courses not completed without prior arrangement may require re‑enrollment at additional cost.

EVALUATIONS: Participants are provided an online evaluation form to share anonymous feedback on program content, facilitator effectiveness, and overall satisfaction. Responses are reviewed by the program administrator and used to inform ongoing quality improvements.


LEAVE OF ABSENCE: Participants may request a leave of absence by emailing support@training-grounds.net. Requests are acknowledged within three business days. Options may include an extended timeline or transfer to a future session. If return is not possible, re‑registration at full cost may be required. Denied requests may be appealed within five business days, with a final decision provided within five business days.


RECORDS: Records (including but not limited to syllabi, attendance, and certificates) are maintained in a secure electronic format for a minimum of four years.


REFUNDS: Fees are non-refundable but may be transferred to another participant or credited toward a future offering. To request a transfer or credit, email support@training-grounds.net.
