Top talent is often promoted without the support needed to thrive in their new role. This results in overwhelm and reactivity and impacts everything from program quality to retention. In a trauma-exposed environment the challenges are intensified due to the constant and cumulative impact of trauma on the workforce.
This program closes the leadership gap by equipping supervisors and managers to move from ‘putting out fires’ and feeling overwhelmed to confident, influential leadership - benefiting the entire organization.
It is specifically designed for organizations serving children, youth, and families in trauma-exposed environments. Participants benefit from a personalized, direct approach, with the program facilitated by James Freeman, who brings over 30 years of experience in the child and youth care field.
Leaders at all levels, including emerging and current supervisors, managers, and directors. This program is ideal for anyone seeking a supportive environment to develop a leadership mindset, gain essential tools, and receive the human support and connection growing leaders need.
In this 10-week program, participants receive on-demand lessons and exercises via a dedicated platform, engage in weekly interactive group sessions, complete a personal assessment, and benefit from one-on-one coaching with James Freeman for constructive feedback and support.
The program delivers practical skills tailored to individual needs and schedule, with a time commitment of less than 2.5 hours per week.
If it already feels like you've got too much going on, it's likely that your candidate(s) for the program are already on the edge of overwhelm or burnout. Waiting longer without doing something will only make things worse. This program will accelerate the ability to get things done with balance and accountability.
Every organization should have a line item for staff development that is a percentage of overall payroll. The task then is about identifying what is a priority in the budget. When you look at what current leadership practices are costing your organization, it can become clear that you'll save exponentially more than the cost of the program in improved performance.
The program is priced at a great value at $1950 USD. That's the equivalent of $195 per week and includes group sessions, one-on-one support, weekly lessons, and the assessment report.
There is an option to pay in full at time of enrollment or to pay half and the balance in 30 days.
If you have a specific invoicing or purchase order process, I can work with you on what you need.
Limited scholarships are available to support individuals who have been historically underrepresented, lack organizational support, or those for who paying the program fee would drastically limit their ability to meet basic needs.
The scholarships are offered on a pay-what-you-can format and are not intended to replace readily available organizational funds or efforts to secure funding. Candidates are asked to state the percentage of the program fee they or their organization will be able to pay.
