Continuing Education Information

Training Grounds LLC programs and curriculum are aligned with the Competencies for Professional Child and Youth Work Professionals and the Standards for Practice of North American Child and Youth Care Professionals.

Certificates of completion are issued with the corresponding competency domain and are eligible toward foundational training or continuing education requirements of the Child and Youth Care Certification Board.

LICENSED MENTAL HEALTH PROFESSIONALS: Training Grounds LLC is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) to sponsor continuing education for: Licensed Marriage Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC), and Licensed Educational Psychologists (LEP). Training Grounds LLC maintains responsibility for this program and its content. CAMFT Authorized Provider ID 10005971.

Note: In 2023, the California Board of Behavioral Sciences revised criteria for CE courses, significantly limiting content to diagnosis, assessment, and treatment in psychotherapy. Training Grounds LLC remains approved and may occasionally offer or co-sponsor qualifying CE activities for licensed mental health professionals.

Program Policies

Educational Goals and Evaluation: Each program syllabus includes an outline, educational goals, measurable learning objectives, and knowledge base citations. Participants are asked to provide feedback and evaluate sessions through post-event evaluations.

Refunds: Fees are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person in your organization on request.

Certificates: Certificates of completion are provided at the conclusion of the program upon verification of completion of program requirements.

Accommodations: Accessibility accommodations, such as alternative formats, extended access to materials, transcripts, or interpretation, may be available upon request based on participant needs.

Non-Discrimination: Discrimination based on race, gender, citizenship, native language, age, disability, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic is strictly prohibited and goes against the ethical standards of this program. Such behavior will not be tolerated.

Grievances: Written grievances will receive a response within five business days. The program administrator oversees compliance with legal and ethical standards, including mediation and final arbitration.
